Gary Allen Srery (July 26, 1942 – April 27, 2011) was an American serial killer who killed at least four women In Alberta Canada between 1976 and 1977. In 2024, long after his death, he was linked to the murders using DNA evidence with the joint cooperation of the American and Canadian authorities

He was 26 when the zodiac killings began, while younger then most suspects, witnesses have generally agreed the the zodiac was somewhere between 25-33, which matches their descriptions, he Is of a similiar height to the man the three girls described near the LB Killing and seems to match the sketch created based off their descriptions.

Moving from Illinois to California In the mid 1950s, he committed various crimes, Including theft, Rape, Sodomy, Sexual Assault, but most notably, kidnapping, once In 1965, and again In 1966, this Is relevant because In 1970, the Zodiac Killer took credit for the kidnapping of Kathleen Johns, If true, It could establish a pattern.

He frequently moved between the areas of Northern and Southern California between the years of 1964-1974, described by news sources as a chameleon, he was good at changing his appearance, which Is consistent with the Zodiac Killer based off eye witness accounts and his own writings.

His MO appeared to match that of the later Santa Rosa Murders, which the Zodiac Killer was suspected In.

He married In california, but divorced In 1969, shortly after he was charged with rape, though acquitted.

In 1974 he got charged with rape again, he was released on bail after which he fled the country Into canada.

The Calgary Police have said he might be linked to more murders In both the U.S. and Canada
